I seek to do God's healing work by providing psychotherapeutic and educational services with an emphasis on integrating body, mind, and spirit. I anchor my services in a Christian understanding that life is filled with meaning and purpose, taking care to treat all people with respect for their beliefs.
I endeavor to tap the rich resources of individual religious and spiritual experience as we address real-life issues and emotional scars.
People of all faiths and lifestyles are welcome and will be treated with respect and acceptance. I do not impose individual or collective views on others, rather, I attempt to create an open space for healing by hearing your story and offering guidance and support based on many years of training, clinical work, and my own experience of God’s grace.
I purpose to see my counseling approach similar to the Biblical pattern of the Holy Spirit, to be “one who comes along side” to walk with you through challenging times. I have learned that many Biblical teachings have practical applications to illustrate important life principals.
The main approach I attempt to take with clients is “Grace Therapy” which provides, empowers and enables us to get through whatever challenge we encounter. My specialties are working with couples, individuals, and blended families with life transitional challenges.
I also teach at Chapman University in Roseville, California and mentors other counselors who are in their training to become clinical counselors.
